Central and Eastern Europe Region

Professor Wieslaw Krajka has been elected to serve as the Regional Executive Secretary for Eastern and Central Europe.   Dr. Krajka replaces Peter Marko of Hungary, who resigned earlier this year. 

Dr. Krajka’a extensive scholarly publications include seven books, including Isolation and Ethos: A Study of Joseph Conrad (East European Monographs Boulder - Columbia University Press, 1992), Joseph Conrad: Konteksty Kulturowe (Lublin: Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Sklodowskiej, 1996), and On the Analysis of the Literary Text (Warszawa: Państwowe Wydawnictwo Naukowe, 1984, co-author: Andrzej Zgorzelski).
