The Second IOV World Youth Congress and IOV Thirtieth Anniversary Celebration, which took place in Nanjing, China, from October 21 through 26, have concluded. The participants, who numbered nearly 400 at the Opening Ceremony, have returned to their homes countries with memories to last a lifetime.
The conference was an extraordinary opportunity for IOV youth to meet new friends and renew old friendships, while experiencing the culture of China. Thank you to the organizing committee, the Nanjing Youth Commission, IOV China and especially, the participants. Everyone played a role in the success of the congress.

We are particularly grateful for Emma Chen Hoefler, Chair of IOI China, and her staff and volunteers, who gave their time and talents in order to make our stay in China memorable. A special thank you goes to the many English-speaking, student guides, who volunteered throughout the congress.

To our friends from France, we are happy to know that your director is doing well following surgery in Hong Kong. Thank you to Olvin Valentin, Chair of the IOV Youth Commission.

We wish to give a big, heartfelt thank you to the people and government of the great city of Nanjing. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms and friendly smiles. Most of all, we thank the youth of IOV. You are the future of the world, working together today in IOV.
